Martin HD12-28 (2025) 12-String Steel String Acoustic Guitar – New

Given the popularity of the herringbone-trimmed HD-28, and the long tenure of the D12-28 12-string, it’s not surprising that Martin has combined elements from both guitars into the HD12-28. The unique sound and sustain of a rosewood 12 string is undeniable. Since you’re adding so many treble strings to the mix with a 12-string it helps to have some real bass response to balance them. This rosewood Dreadnought delivers the bottom end needed so you get the chime and jingle of 12 strings with a smooth bass tone to tie it all together.

Martin’s refreshed Standard Series for 2025 enhances tone, comfort, and style. Sitka spruce GE top bracing, as featured on the Modern Deluxe Series, delivers vintage-inspired tone and sustain, while updates like a reimagined neck profile, thinner fingerboard, and refined bridge and heel improve playability and aesthetics. Each guitar includes a hardshell case.
