An early example of the Modern Deluxe that shows only very light surface wear from careful use. Note the LR Baggs Anthem pickup, with convenient controls along the upper edge of the soundhole. These Modern Deluxe models have proven popular with a wide range of guitarplayers who appreciate Martin’s heritage and vintage vibe, but who also like the modern and common-sense upgrades such as the torrified (VTS) spruce top and maple binding (rather than celluloid).
