Martin OME Cherry (FSC® Certified) Steel String Acoustic Guitar New

Lots of people shopping for new guitars wonder where the woods used to build those guitars come from, and if those woods are harvested legally and sustainably. Martin relies on FSC, the Forestry Stewardship Council, to make sure the woods were chosen and harvested properly, meaning the planet didn’t suffer when it yielded the woods used in an FSC certified guitar. This OME Cherry model is a great example, and delivers all the tone and playability you could hope for. Cherry is a great domestic hardwood, with nearly ideal qualities for musical instruments and S. S. Stewart and other American fretted instrument manufacturers used cherry extensively around 1900. Along with a clear conscience about the sources of the woods, the OME offers an excellent pickup system, the Fishman Matrix VT Enhance.
