Not only does it sound larger than it is, it also has a more spruce-like tone than you’d expect, while still retaining the mellow mahogany vibe at the same time.

The only signs of use are that the satin finish on the top has been rubbed a bit more glossy where the player’s arm went over the edge of the lower bout, the barrel of neck is more glossy, and there’s a bit of that same effect around the pickguard. This gives it a vintage look, but of course without any artificial distressing.
