2022 Eastman MD315 Mandolin – Used

The Eastman MD315 was made in 2022 and it’s in fine structural and cosmetic condition. It has just a hint of fret wear but the large curl on the headstock was broken and reattached. This is an excellent value in an F-5 style mandolin. It has a solid, hand carved spruce top with a solid, hand carved maple back and solid maple sides. It has ivoroid top binding, a bone nut and an adjustable ebony bridge. It has the percussive bark that bluegrass demands when you dig hard, but if you back off a bit, it works well for Celtic styles, old-time string band music, jazz and just about any style you can think of. Includes a well padded gig bag.
