Beard Guitars Jerry Douglas Black Beard Guitar – New

Featuring all-mahogany construction and paired with a #14 Spider Cone, Jerry Douglas’ signature Blackbeard dobro style guitar is as lively as any square neck resonator on the market. The one-piece mahogany neck and top, in particular, contribute to a sound that is warm and balanced, delivering wonderful projection with a clear mid-range punch. Stylized as “Black Ice”, the smooth gloss finish that adorns the top really accentuates the dark color of the mahogany, giving a refined and stately appearance. And for those looking to take their sound to the stage, the Blackbeard comes with a Fishman Nashville pickup system pre-installed. The Nashville is one of the most natural sounding pickups out there and is specifically designed to work with Spider-style bridges.
