Eastman MD604 Acoustic Electric Mandolin – New

Like all of Eastman’s mandolins, the MD604 has a solid, hand carved spruce top with solid, hand carved maple back. It has a Truetone gloss finish with their Classic red color. It has ivoroid binding on the top, back neck and headstock and it’s fitted with a K&K Duotone pickup. The ebony fretboard is inlaid with pearl blocks and has a radius. We’re big fans of oval soundhole mandolins here at Gryphon, and think that their characteristic warm, bubbly tone is perfectly suited to Celtic styles, old-time string band music, jazz and just about any style that doesn’t demand a percussive bark like bluegrass does. Includes a hardshell case.
