Martin 00-28 Steel String Acoustic Guitar New

Martin never offered a 14-fret rosewood 00-size in the 1930s and1940s, but after playing this 00-28, which is based on the specs of the guitar that could have been, we have to ask, “Why?” This guitar has the same appointments as its larger sibling, the 000-28, which include solid Indian rosewood back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top, ebony fretboard, herringbone purfling and pre-war style top braces. The smaller body makes the 00-28 a comfortable guitar to play but it puts out a fuller, richer tone than you might expect from a guitar of its size. Martin may not have this model way back when, but we’re sure glad they’re doing it now. Includes a hardshell case.
