Martin OM-21 Acoustic Guitar New

Martin’s Standard Series OM-21 model has been one of Gryphon’s favorite “non-dreadnoughts” since it was introduced in the early 1990s as it offers players the OM features important to sound and playability but for less $$$ than an OM-28. The 1 3/4″ wide neck gives the fingers of your left hand more room, plus the long 25.4″ scale means you get more bass and power than with a typical short scale 000, plus the option of using lower tunings without losing tone to floppy bass strings. In 2018 Martin gave the OM-21 some critical upgrades, making the differences between the Style 21 and Style 28 versions purely cosmetic. Along with forward-shifted scalloped X bracing and an ebony fretboard and bridge, this model now has vintage-style open back tuners plus faux tortoiseshell binding and pickguard. Oh, and a nicer case.
