Richard Prenkert Madagascar Rosewood/Sitka Spruce 650mm Classical Guitar New

Richard Prenkert is our favorite classical guitar luthier and Gryphon has sold dozens of his instruments in recent years. His 40 years of building experience is only part of the human side of his tool kit, as Richard is also an accomplished player who performs with his guitars.

This example delivers warm tone thanks to the Madagascar rosewood, with excellent balance between bass and treble. The spruce top allows more than ample headroom for those passages where the player needs to “lean in” for more volume.
