This new 00 from Santa Cruz is an elegant take on the classic 12-fret design. It features a stunning California redwood top, bordered by rope purfling and snakewood binding. The neck and slotted headstock are also bound in snakewood, adding to its sleek look. Like many Santa Cruz 00s, this guitar sounds bigger than its size suggests. The combination of rosewood back and sides with a redwood top produces a rich low end, a warm, earthy attack, and a generous bloom of overtones. Whether you’re after a dynamic fingerstyle instrument or a responsive rhythm guitar, this one delivers. Includes a hardshell case.
